Clean food and water science company finds new home in Fremont, Calif.
Fremont, Calif. – May 12, 2008 – Purfresh, Inc., formerly known as Novazone, Inc., a leading provider of clean solutions for food and water, today announced the opening of its new headquarters in Fremont, Calif. Leaving its long-time home of Livermore, Calif., the new location allows Purfresh to expand its corporate offices and research facilities as part of a strategic growth plan.
“This move will provide our research team with additional laboratory space for testing and analysis of existing products, as well as speed the development and commercialization of new product solutions for the food and water industries,” said David Cope, president and CEO of Purfresh, Inc. “With skyrocketing food costs and growing concerns about the use of chemicals in our food system, we’re seeing a lot of demand for our products and services, and Fremont has the location and space we need to grow.”
The new facility is also more centrally located in the San Francsico Bay area, halfway between two major airports (Oakland and San Francisco) and the company’s Central Valley-based agricultural customers. Purfresh has sales offices throughout the U.S. including the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, Southern California, New York, Georgia and Florida.
