Purfresh Appoints Timothy Steinkopf Chief Financial Officer
New CFO brings exemplary financial and management experience
Fremont, Calif. – April 21, 2010 – Purfresh, a provider of clean technologies that purify, protect, and preserve our food and water, today announced the appointment of Timothy Steinkopf as chief financial officer. Mr. Steinkopf brings more than 25 years of experience at both public and private companies, and most recently served as chief financial officer of SumTotal Systems, where he was responsible for all aspects of corporate finance. Mr. Steinkopf will manage the financial and administrative functions of the company as it expands its presence in domestic and international markets.

Prior to SumTotal Systems, Mr. Steinkopf served as chief financial officer of the network security business unit of McAfee, Inc., which was a transitional role on the integration team subsequent to the acquisition of Secure Computing Corporation. During his tenure at Secure Computing Corporation, Mr. Steinkopf served as senior vice president of operations and chief financial officer, and played an integral role in the acquisition by McAfee, Inc. Previously, Mr. Steinkopf held management positions at Silicon Entertainment, Inc., Watt/Peterson, Inc., and Ernst & Young.
Mr. Steinkopf holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the St. Cloud State University, Minn. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (inactive).
