The Quality by Purfresh program is available to Purfresh customers who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and a commitment to achieving exceptional quality standards through sustainable practices. Designed to address consumer and industry concerns around food safety, the environment, and worker conditions, the program features companies that are improving pre- and/or post-harvest processes to enhance food safety, reduce chemical use, and/or conserve water at various segments within their operations.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Each company that wishes to use the distinguished Quality by Purfresh mark must be a customer in good standing and demonstrate a commitment to one or more of the following initiatives:

• Improving quality, water utilization, and yield of fresh produce grown using food-grade crop protection;
• Enhancing food-safety practices while reducing chemical and water usage in disinfection applications;
• Improving product quality through better storage practices;
• Providing more desirable and safer working conditions for employees as a result of fewer chemicals in the working environment;
• Applying sustainable agricultural practices.

USING THE MARK
Upon acceptance into the program, you will be presented with a plaque of recognition, will be given access to the logo and usage guidelines, and will become eligible to participate in Purfresh-sponsored marketing and PR opportunities.

Participating companies are encouraged to publicly display the distinguished logo on any items used to promote their quality practices. These items may include product packaging, marketing materials, web pages, signage, advertising, promotions, and company business cards, letterhead, and invoices.
